Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026. We collect only what we need to deliver your order and answer your questions.

What we collect

  • Orders and enquiries: your name, email, phone, business details and the information you include in your brief or message.
  • Credibility Check: the website address, business name, city, service and answers you enter. To run the check we fetch publicly available pages of that website and look up public information about it: domain registration records, DNS records, Wikidata, Google News and Bing News search results, and Google PageSpeed Insights. Where switched on, we also use Google Places, Google Web Risk and AI assistants (such as OpenAI, Google Gemini, Perplexity or Anthropic) to check ratings, security lists and what AI tools say about the business. Those providers receive the business name and website address, not your personal details. We don’t store check results on our servers unless you ask us to email your report.
  • Dashboard: reports you run are saved in your own browser (local storage) so you can track them in the dashboard. They stay on your device until you remove them or clear your browser data; we can’t see them.
  • Payments: handled by our payment processor. We don’t see or store your full card details.
  • Site usage: basic, aggregated analytics and security logs from our hosting provider.

How we use it

  • To write, publish and verify your announcement and to deliver your proof page.
  • To reply to you and send information you request.
  • To send marketing emails only where you have agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Who we share it with

Our distribution partners receive the release you approve. Service providers who host our website, process payments and send email receive what they need to do so. We don’t sell personal information.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. Published releases are controlled by the publishers that carry them; we’ll help with removal requests where possible.

Retention

We keep order records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal and tax obligations.
